A bit of a thread resurrection.
I eventually went for the Cumulus Selva 250 3/4 length - it arrived today a month after ordering, obviously I got the wrong end of the current delivery variability. I happened to notice this about the length on their site: ¾ of the hammock length is insulated. Not sure why they see this as 3/4 but it possibly explains why their "short" underquilts are so long.
First test lay using it and it extends from the top of my neck to beyond my toes so I suppose it's somewhere between a 7/8ths and a full length? Dunno, no idea! Not too bothered about my head being over uninsulated material as I'll probably use a fleece jacket as a pillow anyway so it's no big deal. Not mentioned in the features is that both ends have baffles for draught exclusion.
I'll probably take a few uses to get things dialled in and set up right.
