Looking for advice: How to position internal poles

That looks very nice! Did you sew the ties on? I’m hoping to use an internal rigeline to hold the poles in place (and am hoping that would be enough to keep them in position). Although I may glue a couple of tie out points to a couple of spots on the hammock walls (just to hold the bug netting if it sags; not much weight).

Thanks for that link. I’ve now spent a couple if hours looking up those standing French seams with a grosgrain cover . I’d never seen them before and so I am re-designing my tarp accordingly.

Yes the ribbon is sewn on and sealed. Tying to a ridgeline should work very well.
