    Opinions on reflective paracord

I want to replace my rainfly guy lines with reflective paracord. Paracord Planet seems to dominate the market but the reviews on the reflectivity of their reflective paracord are mixed.

What are the best sources for reflective paracord for guy lines that work well?

    Thanks!

Paracord is nylon and nylon stretches, which is not desirable for ridge lines or guy lines.

Consider something like Lawson Glowire, Kelty Triptease, Atwood Tactical Reflective cord and the like.

What ^^ said. I do use paracord but not for my tarp lines. It stretches too much for me.

Concur. I got some reflective guyline from hammockgear when I bought my tarp, and it is great. There are plenty of options out there that will be lighter and won't stretch

In addition to the stretch, paracord will absorb a measurable amount water weight if you get caught in the rain.

The only piece of paracord I have anywhere in my kit is the Celtic button slider on a soft shackle.. cause it's a cool color..
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....
