Hi everyone. I look forward to the amazing advice I'll get from seasoned hangers in this forum.
I love being in nature and far from crowds and spending the night in the woods. Despite all of this, my sleep in a tent can best be described as horrible, despite a nice inflatable pad and pillow. I toss and turn on the hard ground all night, get little sleep, and have a hard time waking up at a decent hour.
When my lightweight backpacking tent bit the bullet, I thought "What do I have to lose?" I just received my first hammock in the mail today. It's a Hennessey Expedition Asym Zip. It's up now and I'm looking forward to spending the night in it tonight.
