Adding whoopies to HH in 2020

Hey guys. Wondering who here has done this modification in recent times. There are a few videos detailing the process from long ago, when the end of the hammock had two melted holes. Now it’s a simple fabric loop, and was wondering if anyone can outline how they’ve done it since this change was made.

Here’s a video Dutch did explaining the two. This is how I learned to swap out the suspension on the newer style.

    Awesome, guys. Thanks!

Edit: this is actually a very different process than I thought it’d be. On my ENO I just attached the Whoopie slings to the hammock directly via the gathered end. I didn’t even know continuous loops were part of this process with HH hammocks, which is fine but now I realize I also need another linking piece like Dutch whoopie hooks. I’ve already made the slings like I did previously, so there is no hardware on the sling. Is this about the only way people have done this?

There's nothing to it. Just remove the "sock" from the hammock ends, untie the stock rope, thread the whoopies through the "socks" and larks head them to the strop on the hammock... Easy as pie.

Just added Dutch CLs to my newer model HH Expedition...

and yep, it's just a matter of getting a sweet neat larks head on the sewn-in webbing loops on both ends.

    Add whoopies and you're golden
