I made a transverse "head hammock" that is adjustable for comfort. It's two rectangles, the top 12" x 16" 1.1 oz. brown fabric and the bottom 14" x 19" .67 oz. green, with enough pleats in the bottom sides to make the edges line up. I stuffed it with about an ounce of recycled down - probably could have used half that because the down is not compressed. The whole thing weighs an ounce and a half. It adjusts easily from within the hammock (lift head, slide corner whoopie). (I believe this will make fabricating the head end caps for PBHs with recessed spreaders much easier. Hammocks will have more head end internal storage space, too, I think.)
