I switched my lay just to see if I could (recently) - no problem. That said, for that kind of $$$ I'd try to sell something to make up the diff - just in case the switch didn't work out.
I have a 0 degree Incubator, so I'm just going to use that for a while, until I figure out how I do with a right lay. But I want to ultimately get both a 0 degree and a 40 degree Wooki, and if I manage to get both of them in a sale, I'd be saving the cost of a tarp. So I can get two left lay underquilts, or two right lay underquilts and a new tarp, for the same amount of money. It's like getting a free tarp if I can switch to right lay.

When it comes to hammocks, I guess I'm just ambidextrous.

I switch between left and right lay some nights. Not often but I do.
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

Ambidextrous in GEs. Started out reverse in a DH Raven. My WBBB XLC is a regular lay. Didn't make any difference in the Hammocktent 90s or Exped Ergo.

Bought a symmetrical DH Sparrow that I use nightly and as my Netflix couch. I often switch it up depending on what view I want or just to change it up.

[QUOTE=Otter1;2019387]I could never sleep on my back...until I "made" myself do it in a hammock. Was way easy too. I barely move move nights, which is a big deal compared to in my bed.

same as me then ,I am a side and stomach sleeper ,but cannot seem to get it right in my XLC on my side, I get back ache probably because the feet end is pitched so high, my transition to laying on my back not so quite so easy to get used to, but getting there, I still wake up every couple hours, I have problems with my feet touching together (dont like it lol) so I have to use a blow up pad and all sorts of down pillows to keep them apart

I set up my Sparrow last night with the bugnet off so I could try a flipped lay there, and it felt okay, but I just tried it for about 10 minutes. Maybe tonight I'll try sleeping that way.

Same here and sometimes I switch during the night. However the hard part for me is if I need to set up the hammock so that I get out on the right side (usually due to the position of the trees and the view I want with the tarp in porch mode). I prefer to sit up and get out of the left side of the hammock just like getting in/out of my bed on the left side at home.
