North Central Arkansas short easy to moderate hanging trails?

I’m looking for suggestions for some shorter (one nighter) easy to moderate hanging trails to take my young grandsons on their first few hanging trips In the North Central area of Arkansas.. They are 12 and 8.

Would love if had some creeks or river nearby to hang nearby too.

Sylamore Creek near Mountain View would be a great place to take them.

Glad to hear that one mentioned first. That is the only one I have found so far that I thought would be good first one. Just part of it from Allison say up to Blanchard Springs is prob what I think for first one. Hoping there are more similar in the area without having to go all the way over to NW Arkansas (though I know Buffalo River area has tons)

Village Creek State Park has miles of trails. Not far from Jonesboro.

Another vote for Sylamore. I've been there twice, and it hasn't disappointed me yet.

Sylamore is a more scenic and moderate in difficulty trail than the ones at Village Creek. Village Creek might be a good place to begin your adventures with your family. Sylamore has the Blanchard Springs Caverns which never fails to impress kids.

Yes a practice run on easier more level grounds is probably a good idea for first test run with them. We will definitely do Sylamore also!
