Hello all. I am pretty well set on buying a Warbonnet Diamondback top quilt. I'm wondering about what I should do for the temp rating or overstuff, as well as the need of a draft collar..
Typically, I backpack in the spring, the heat of summer, and the early fall in Minnesota. Anywhere from 20 to 80 degrees. I can either hammock or sleep on the ground depending on the trip.
Do you think that a 30 degree quilt with 1 oz of overstuff and the draft collar will get me down close to 20 degrees with proper clothing? I am hesitant to get a 20 degree quilt because I intend to use it in the summer too and I don't want to roast myself alive...
Thanks everyone!
