    Backyard hang solution

A few weeks back i asked some opinions on creating a backyard hang spot. I ended up getting 3 4"x6"x10' pressure treated beams and sunk them 3 feet deep. Cemented them in and added a crossbeam to help with the stability. I put two hangers on each post so we're all hanging from a different point. I just had some lights delivered so i can hang them from the beams.

Thanks everyone for the input. These are working great. We now spend most evenings out there.

Looks great! Im doing a similar thing, but using two telephone poles and a tree.

I did not use quick crete, I just tamped the dirt back into the post hole. It has held rock solid so far. I sunk the pole about 3.5' down, and put a couple inches of gravel on the bottom.

Too late. We have a temporary one back there now but have plans to put in a more permanent one eventually.

So, how do you go about deciding which one to sleep in?

    Looks awesome!

Man that looks awesome! I was just about to post asking if anyone has made some like like this but for four hammocks.

We’re gearing up for a major landscaping project and that’s an idea I had. Thinking like the hammock pergola but with four posts and a fire pit in the middle.

Anyone done that yet? Would love to see photos, and I’ll be certain to add some when ours is done.

I've seen one in a few videos that Dream Hammock has outside of their shop that looks nice.

ASAHanger that looks great! How about inviting a (sorta) neighbor over to try it out. :-)

Mine is the red one. My daughter's is pink. And my wife's is the black/yellow one.

Come on over! My dogs may bark, but they don't bite (2 GSDs and a Pit/Boxer mix).
