    A quick solo overnight reset.

    https://youtu.be/bFR9pPsMUSc

Got out for a 1 nighter in morgan hill state forest in upstate NY. Had to get a quick adventure in so I could reset. It got to the 20s F at night. Cold and winter squals but I still had a great time. Made a nice warm fire and met some cool people staying at the lean to i camped behind.

Tried a no talking ASMR type feel for this video. I have other videos that have talking but wanted to try this out. Let me know what you think. I hope it's relaxing.

Throw some love my way and give me a thumbs up . Dont forget to subscribe if you like these types of videos.

Can you tell me about your fishing setup? I'm interested in a packable rod, reel, and tackle system.

I plan to do an entire review on my setup soon, because I had the same thought and couldn't find much information out there about it from a backpackers perspective.

The jist of what I did....
Found light weight rod that fit my criteria (rod length, and power for the fish you want to catch)
Next, I happen to know my finesse reel on my bass setup was super light. Tried to find something lighter with same quality and couldn't, so I bought another reel just for backpqcking.
Outfitted the reel with proper test braid for the fish I'm targeting and then tied a knot I use for my finesse bass setup to a leader line.
Then I bought a tiny plano tackle box and some lures...
    All set.

So is that a 4 piece rod? Looks like it packs down pretty well.

Yup 4 piece, I have a soft case right now but I think I'll try and fine a better hard tube type case for the future. I'm trying to find a way to carry the rod and reel together in the same case.
