VIDEO: SLOVAKIA - Little Carpathians hidden treasures

Filming for some 2 months, gathering sunrise and sunset material of our mystic oak forest, where the elders overlook the blueberry undergrowth. Any specie of the birds you can think of the forests in central Europe. Accompanied with their songs recorded right on the spot. Use your headphones

Very relaxing video. You just might be on to something. I'd like to see more b-roll of people doing outdoor activities, but that's just me. Keep up the good work.

Stop it already!! You’re driving me crazy with your amazing videos, and no chance for me to make it to Slovakia/Czechia anytime in the near future. (My grandad was Moravian, Brno is high on my bucket list, but you are making the Little Carpathians a bucket list as well.)

Seriously, I love your pics and video, always anticipating the next installment.

I’ll be sure to take the side trip when I eventually make it that direction.

    Two quick questions:
What drone are you using? I’m very impressed with the video quality of it.
And second, this may sound a little naive, but you mean to tell me cuckoo birds are real? I’ve never heard one here in the States. I thought they were just clock ornaments.

That drone is of my hiking buddy, it is mavic air I think. I am not pleased with the optical quality at all. Actually there are too much unused footage due to lack of quality, mainly quite off color that I wanted to capture. The performance against the light is disgusting. I chose few clips out of 50 and still not satisfied at all. Nevermind, it all disappears with good sound of the forest

The cuckoo birds are real, recorded exactly with this footage, its not a fake. You can hear them every morning, quite often, nothing special This area is very rich with birds. I wake up the same moment the first bird starts the war, in 30 seconds the forest is a concert. Woodpeckers, owls, cuckoo, any kind of small birds. Me laying in the hammock and listening and watching. And waiting for the sunrise. Very nice. There is a time when the birds sing all at one time, and the sleep is finished for everybody

    Relaxing, beautiful video!

That time in the morning laying in the hammock when the forest is waking up around you is one of my favorite feelings, very special.

What? No technofog Ju Ju music? Absolutely love the video and the bird songs. Also interesting to me is the paucity of understory vegetation. Is that natural? You mention the understory is blueberry and that reminds me of our very high elevation Whitebark Pine forests that often have an understory of dwarf huckleberry, aka grouse whortleberry, that look somewhat similar.
