Ultralight Full Comfort Pack List: Gear, Food, & Clothes

It's been too long since I update my gear list. I show how I set up my hammock quickly and pack it all in my backpack.

    It should be working now.

That tarp, hammock, and quilt setup looks super fast. Very impressive. Is the quilt built into the hammock?

Excellent breakdown of your shelter, sleep, food and clothing systems.

UL-ers often do things differently but can explain in detail the thought processes and field experiences that inform their choices for every piece of kit.

Fast setup has saved me from hypothermia on a few occasions. Yes, the hammock has built-in insulation.

Thank you. There has been a lot of trial and error and a lot of research that informed this kit. I still have much to learn.

    Brother Bones!

As always, Very Impressive! Thank you for taking the time, and sharing.
I've been impressed with your hammock/quilt set-up & that pack, since you first made and showed them years ago now.
I am a little surprised it didn't "take off" and turn into the "have to have" long distance hiking hammock set-up. Perhaps now is a better time.
Hadn't ever heard of the Morsel spoon/sporks, but like the looks of them.

The Levi videos bring a smile to my face, and lightness to my heart too,

9.5lbs...I'm around 16. I constantly ask myself "what am I doing wrong?" Well not really "wrong" but you know what I mean.

Some day I'll get it down.

Super impressed on how much thought went into this system. That's a lot of comfort for only 9.5 lbs.

Just curious, a lighter was placed in the hip belt pocket and not enclosed in a plastic bag. Is that because the pocket is made of dyneema or would any material have been protection enough?

This is a really well made video.
