    Econ Burrow

Just ordering a HG Econ burrow 30F plus 2oz, sewn foot box, what are your views on cinch for the neck, does the chord or cinch touch your face and irritate you, or is it worth purtting up with the cinch to keep you bit warmer, your views please, because you can customise it without.

My vote is a big yes for the top cinch cord. Really helps keep heat from escaping.

Some people claim they're annoying but they don't bother me in the least.

order it with it. you can tuck the shock cord inside the burrow and you will never know it's there

It never bothers me much, but I totally see that getting redesigned and moved to the side in the future.

I agree. I prefer my cinches on the sides.

I've never had any kind of irritation from the cinch. Tuck it underneath where your hands can access it from within the quilt, and it should never come anywhere near your face.

I actually prefer it top-center. Easy to access and as SE says, you can tuck the cord inside the quilt and never know it's there.

The ones on the side or behind, I find are just awkward to reach and operate.

Obviously, this is a personal preference issue, but if I were to order another quilt, it would be one of the things that determined which manufacturer I went with.

Btw... I have had both. Actually, I currently have both.

    Hi

Thanks for input,All ordered with cinch, warmth increase if required outweigh the negatives about shock cord on my chest, I will be asleep anyway

On my DIY top quilt, I put the cinch cord opening halfway between the center of the quilt and its left edge (I'm right handed). This has worked well.

That sounds a very good idea, if you DIY you have that luxury, but I cannot thread a needle let alone make a quilt, i did ask my wife to make me one because she makes babies quilts, she polity told me to stick it somewhere
