    Sewing Machine Assistance

Back in 2016 I bough and old singer sewing machine. There is a tag on it with 96-21 on it. Another forum member here thought it might be a 96-10 when I posted about it back when I picked it up. Soon after I bought it I had to put the machine in storage and never was able to get to where I could have it set up and ready to use it.

I am wanting to know if there is anyone local to SE PA that would be willing to come and show me how to set it up and use it when this quarantine time is up. I have looked at videos online but I am a more visual learner when I can watch and ask questions as I learn. I am looking forward to sewing up some heavier fabrics and bags right now with it. Willing to share the machine if you will help me out.

    I use a 1945 Singer 221...

Not really near you, but if you don't find help and want to try using Facetime or something similar, I'd try to help.
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

That was a good link P-Dub. It has some good information. I was able to find paperwork online for it. Since this is my first try at sewing I was hoping to find someone locally that would be willing to work with me to get me jump started. I learn better when working with someone who knows what they are doing vs watching videos.
