    Hello from CO

    Hows it hangin?

Got hooked on hammocks (for better or for worse. RIP wallet.) after moving to CO from FL a few years ago and have been a lurker on this forum for quite a while, but reluctant to add another web account/password to the 8,739,348 I already have to remember. Enter coronavirus and hey, whatever.....I have the time. Maybe after getting all this free advice/DIY help/etc for myself over time, i can repay the favor and actually contribute to some discussions

Anywho, hope everyone is "hanging in there", happy and healthy - cheers

    Hello from CO

I'm new as well, I've been fiddling around with hammocks, but only just recently made a deeper dive into them. A week or so ago, I purchased a ton of fabric from ripstop, and made a bunch of my friends hammocks. If you have any experience sewing, they're stupid easy to make.

I want to delve into tarps now, but I'm afraid that dealing with waterproof fabric would be a lot harder to deal with.
