    UQ decision

    Hi

After looking at a lot of reviews from you guys and girls I went with a HG Econ Underquilt 20F, with 3 oz overfill for good old UK, that should keep me of trouble for a while, I really i loved the look of the other vendors wares and had first class service and prompt and courteous replies regarding all the questions answered by all I contacted , but in the end just could not justify at this point spending anymore money,i car and motorbike camp so weight was not an issue as much as keeping me warm,I hope I have made good decision

Thanks,i looked at a lot of posts and lets be honest it should not be that hard as decision, until it all starts off in your head, what colour inside what colour out side, what material what fill weight ,what total weight, what baffles sewn or not ,which way do baffles go, the list goes on lol,but finally saw what a lot of you guys and girls are using and why you chose them , job done,For now anyway

I went with an Econ 20F long standard fill to use year round in the UK, and it has been great. Had a couple of nights down at -5 C and it did the job for me. It's pretty rare to get temps much lower than that in the South so you should be good to go with the overstuff.

It's a real pain in the butt buying top and Under quilts over here, unless you're willing to suck up the shipping and taxes. Having good thermal protection is a game changer and well worth the investment imho. I don't think you will regret your purchase.

I used a cheaper down sleeping bag and made the investment into a HG quilt and haven't regretted it at all. Their quality is top notch.
