    Custom double layer hammock

This is a custom handmade double layer hammock in MARPAT with winter cover and big net. Winter cover and big net tuck into interior bag when not in use. Includes UCR suspension but no tree huggers. Matching bishop bag, ridge line and organizer included. Very little use!! No damage. $150 tyd B5CB6BD0-915E-4EFD-B30D-40E150F89DDE.jpeg7A81FE54-89A6-4650-BD1C-8BF1E23E9E43.jpeg6A1D6FF4-C4CF-4AB6-845B-F24CC130A4DF.jpeg3C9E8F70-1F2B-4B04-8A73-BE4B34EA506E.jpeg5DEB9306-9371-44D6-9F6E-0DD2CA4F7C28.jpeg3A614FA4-82F1-4303-906D-37DEF3B461B4.jpeg3ED6C06E-BBAE-4349-A73C-2FFC7DEE00FF.jpeg

Hi guys, I’m sorry I don’t have exact numbers for you. The hammock laid on the ground (gathered) is about 126” long from gathered end to gathered end. It’s roughly 65” wide. I have no idea on the material. Member XTrekker made it for me when I first started hanging probably 7 years ago or so. At the same time I bought a Clark nx-250. I used this hammock on 3 trips and preferred the poles on the Clark so this has sat in my gear closet collecting dust. It’s a ripstop of some sort. I can tell you the hammock in the bishop bag weights 1 lb 13.85oz on my scale. Also, I’m a big guy and this was built for big/heavy guy. I was around 240 at that time. If anyone has more questions or you want specific pics of anything, please let me know

is that weight for just the hammock in the bishop bag, or the whole system (incl. bug net and winter cover)?

That’s for the whole deal. The big net and top cover are attached to the hammock and just tuck away when not in use.

Somehow I missed that. So you're saying they are removable (or rather movable) when you don't want to use them, but they are permanently attached to the hammock and cannot be left at home. Is that true?

Yes, that is correct. They are permanently attached and there is a little sewn in pocket in the foot end of the hammock that they tuck into if your not using them. You can use it open, or with just bug net, or just cover or a combo of both.
