So going to a double layer helped put it back into the zone he’s wanting while keeping the camo as an outer option. There isn’t any other wide flecktarn camo fabric out there.
Thanks very much! I actually sent you an email to learn some more, in anticipation of placing an order. Glad I found this thread!

Sorry for any confusion I may have caused over my misspelling on Flectarn. While the new DL still has a little stretch to it, it is nothing like the SL layer Flectarn only hammock.

No worries! There are so many different hammock fabrics these days, that I was genuinely confused. I actually skipped over the thread for a while because I thought it was about some new wizbang fabric! I love flecktarn as a camo pattern and am excited to see it offered as an option.

Seems like all it has done past couple of weeks is rain so I have not been able to go out and play with my new toy. Ground is so saturated with water it like walking on a water bed and when the dogs go out and run you can see the water flying up when their paws hit the ground.

How noisy (scratchy sounding maybe?) Is the flecktarn?

My very basic reference is that 40d dreamtex is very loud when you move on it, and sounds scratchy if you run your finger tips over it. The 1.1 that WB used to use (still does?) For their light double layer war birds is pretty quiet and silky feeling. Smooth movement over it.

No more than any other nylon fabric.

The Flectarn camo fabric used in the first LSOH Warrior hammock is little bit different from the new one ( they are maybe 3 or 4 years difference in age ). I would say that both are a bit courser than the fabrics in my Blackbirds and I have a 1.0, 1.1, 1.7 and old Camo BB. Not as silky feeling. Most of my BB's date back close to 10 years ago

Of of the hammocks out there that I have, I do not like the feel of the fabric used in the Hennessy

It’s actually the same fabric as your first one. Just softens up over time (flecktarn fabric)

I am sure you are correct. It does look a little different.
