    Snugpack mod

    Hi
Did the cinch mod to my snugpack UQ that I have had for couple years.worked a treat.i found it on an original post by chesapeake (cheers) back in 2018.got my wife to get sewing machine out yesterday and hey presto.i found an old camo rip stop nylon bag I had.cut it down to size and stitched a channel on both bits of material we even hemmed it .very professional lol.stitched it to both ends of UQ and installed shock cord with cinch toggles that I found I my box of bits,(I have to tidy up toggles but some on order as we speak) very impressed that I can now cinch it up to hammock now to keep those draughts out, along with dutch ridge hooks to alter primary suspension hang its good to go,yes I have been painting .

Great job! Very professional work on that. I see the Dutchware ridge-line hooks on you cordage. Are you connecting them to your ridge-line, or using them in some other capacity?

I have the same UQ, about the same 2-3 years or so. I keep telling myself I have to get that cinch mod done. I mostly use mine indoors, so the urgency hasn't quite impressed itself on me yet.

    Hi Crazytown3

Yes I use them on my ridge line, they make a big difference to keep quilt up where I need it, i am really pleased with mod so very worthwhile spending a bit of time on it
