    Red River Gorge.

Chris and I will be doing a part of the RRG the end of May for a 5 nights, 6 day adventure. Here is what I am taking with me.

Stove - Santa brought me a new Biolite stove, a touch heavy, but VERY well worth it. it has a light, built in USB that generates current to charge the fan, and will charge my phone 3 times without a fire.
Hammock - bug net - tarp - pillow - bottom and top quilt
    med/first aid kit
    filter 2 platapus water bags, ( empty ) and a 16 oz. nalgene ( filled )

Food bag weights in at 6 pounds 3 oz. with enough food to last all but supper the last day
$50.00 for migal's Pizza shack, a must when visiting RRG.

All in all the pack weights in at 21 lbs 4 oz. not bad for a week's hike.

Last time I was there, I bought 2 packages of gummie peach flavored rings. these are now a staple in my pack...love them things...
The only Easy day was yesterday.

Those are good! I picked up a big tub of mini Chuckles at Menards recently. That was trouble. I made those disappear quickly.

Took some Good & Plenty with me on the last trip...the game, it has been changed.

What trails are you hiking for 6 days? Are you making a super loop or doing multiple smaller loops?

Does not matter what we think. Point is they are closed until July 25th, as of now. The order could be rescinded or it may not. The OP should be know this to create a back up plan if the desired area does not open in the next 3 weeks. That is all.

To paraphrase Yogi Berra, They aren't until they are.
