Hello from Perth, Australia!

Hi Hangers!

I've been a car camper for many many years and a weekend hiker for the last 2 years, I even started a YouTube thing (shameless YouTube plug). At the start of this year I came across some YouTubers (Shug, Sintax77, Tim Watson and a few others) who hammock camp and decided to pick up a cheap amazon hammock and tarp, I had such a great time on the couple of adventures I had so I bit the bullet and purchased a Hennessy Explorer Zip (which just arrived this morning). If anyone else from Perth has some hot tips and places to hang, I'd love to know a few spots outside my usual tenting areas.

Not quite the Antipode of me but close. Distribution of the hang or something. I don't know your current status but i am planning a weekender to Porto Backyardas, with a possible hike to the better wind conditions in Santa Basement Valley. I hear the hang in Cost Del Balconey is nice right now with the right equipment and / or permissions.

It will be well soon enough. Setting up to be a great summer. Motorcycling through the mountains, fly fishing, amateur radio outings, etc outdoors. The hammock is sure to be a pivital piece of equipment.
