As much as I like to complain about it, I actually shouldn't too much. Even after an inch of rain (I would guess) I wasn't struggling too much. A couple minutes of slop here and there.

I'm ready to head up north. Heading over the wall without papers next week...wish me luck!

Didn't find a one, but had a great time. Was headed to Brown Hollow, but 135 was closed, so i ended up in The Deam at the fire tower. 1st night I cut off the Sycamore Tr into CVII w/o encountering a soul, for a wonderful night alone back in the cove. In the morning, woke up and hunted the spur north all the way to the backside of the ST again. I found a nice spot up above Jones Hollow in a clearing back of a large deadfall far enough off the trail to suit me. Lot of people in the backwoods on this loop, but I managed to keep pretty much to myself without any trouble.

Anyone thinking of taking a trip down that way, the water was good and plentiful in the streams and especially CVII. I walked 50' for my water when i woke up.

"I fish because I love to; because I love the environs where trout are found, which are invariably beautiful... because, in a world where most men seem to spend their lives doing things they hate, my fishing is at once an endless source of delight and an act of small rebellion; because trout do not lie or cheat and cannot be bought or bribed or impressed by power, but respond only to quietude and humility and endless patience...." --Robert Traver

I'm late to the party, but nice report buddy. And yeah, it seems like a lot of Hoosiers drink cheap beer. Lol

I can't drink fizzy yellow water. But I'm not a hipster $5/bottle guy either. Just some decent $6/6pack stuff with a little class makes all the difference.

And we still gotta set up a lunch sometime when you're free!
