Just an FYI, everybody's itching (including mine) is going to have to be on hold for a little while. Pisgah National Forest has closed a lot of the trails in the Gorge until mid-August (subject to change) and Burke County currently has a ban on overnight camping (due to limited resources if assistance was needed). I believe that KMH is still open to traffic, but Table Rock Rd is closed and rangers have been issuing tickets to violators. While some of the trailheads are on private property, I don't think local residents are too keen on letting people pass on the rules. Pretty much sucks all around, but I am looking forward to when I can wander the ditch again. Until then, there are a lot of good videos from forum members to get your fix. Stay safe everybody.
