    WI > Alone Together Hang > Rubicon, WI > May 1-3, 2020

WHAT: This is a weird group / non-group hang. In order to keep a safe physical distance between people of at least 6-10 feet, everybody will set up their own mini-camp. Pretend you are camping by yourself, but there happen to be people around you. You will need to provide everything as if you are camping alone, but we are kinda together.

WHEN: Friday, May 1, 2020 @ 2pm until Sunday, May 3, @ Noon (The owner will allow us to reschedule for bad weather)

WHERE: Rubicon, Wisconsin. Since it is private land, I'll be in contact with anybody going and give specific directions.

COST: $10 per person per night. Typical person camping for both nights is $20. I paid when I reserved our site, so you can send money to Karla on Paypal (paypal.me/karlamarykay ) or Venmo (Karla_With_a_K).

    OTHER INFO:
    - Firewood is provided
    - There is a composting toilet
    - Leashed pets are allowed
    - We are expected to leave the property in better condition than we found it

We will be on a 60-acre organic rustic farm in Rubicon, WI. It resides at the beginning of the approx. 650-mile Niagara Escarpment--known locally as "The Ledge". We are in close proximity to the Ice Age Trail, Pike Lake, the great Horicon Marsh, & Lake Sinnissipi/Rock River for canoeing/kayaking/fishing/boating (boat launch about 8 miles away). Also a little drive away is the world-renowned Holy Hill Shrine.

Each very private site has a different flavor: Our site is in the wooded hills. Requires a hike (with a cart) up the hill or if your vehicle is up to it, a drive up the narrow 2-track; Over all the farm there are vistas from sunrise to sunset, wildflowers & berries, trails in the woods, and a 900' grass runway for aviators.
