    Underquilt Comparison

I'm finally ready to buy a premium underquilt for my Chameleon. I'm looking at 20 degrees, knowing if I go colder, I can bring my insulated air pad.

I notice that the HG Insulator 20 degree (950 fill) weighs ~21 oz. as does the Loco Libre Habenero (900 fill) and the Cedar Ridge Convector (850 fill) while the EE Revolt (950 fill) weighs ~15 oz.

How does the EE Revolt compare to the others? They are all at about the same price point.

To get the best comparison, compare the amount of down used and the fabrics. If the amount of down is not provided in on the web site contact each vendor. In my opinion, I would want the one with the most down between all of these. How does EE get the weight lower, fabric? Down quantity? Size?

    For me to refer to:

    HG Incubator: 78" x 44", 11 oz fill weight
    LL Habenero: 70" x 44", 13 oz fill weight
    EE Revolt: 65" x 45", 9.6 oz fill weight
    Convector: 72" x 44", ??? fill weight

EE makes great stuff. It's over a foot shorter.

EE Revolt can be ordered in lengths 45, 55, 65 and 75 inches.

Scroll down for all specs... fill weight for 20deg 75" is listed as 10.95oz. If you get 7D shell inside and out total weight listed as 16.15oz.
