Under Quilt for WB Ridge Runner

So I am thinking about adding a Ridge Runner to my hammock collection - it would be my first bridge hammock. I am concerned that my existing under quilts, all of which are HG Incubators will not fit well with this hammock. I am aware that you can purchase the Lynx UC that is made for the Ridge Runner, but I don't want to spend the money and want to be able to utilized the UCs that I have - if at all possible. Has any one had any luck utilizing standard UC's with the Ridge Runner? Thanks in advance!

My Incubator does not fit and I have fiddled with it endlesy to get rid of cold spots. The only thing that helped was using the loops on the sides and running cordage over to the other side over top of a ridgeline I set up for that purpose, not very convenient. I'm using a pad now for the Ridge Runner until I buy a quilt. There are a few other options tho other than the Lynx so explore those as well. I find my Downmat is super comfy in the hammock and while too hot for summer (and heavy AF), it's so comfy I've not even bothered to look at quilts.

I futzed around with trying to get my gathered end hammock UQ to work on my Ridgerunner, and was never satisfied. I bit the bullet and ordered the UQ made for the ridgerunner by Warbonnet (there is at least one other company making ones that will fit - but it had a huge lead time on orders). I am very happy with the fit of the warbonnet uq.

Warbonnet Lynx, Loco Libre Ridge Reaper, and the Arrowhead Equipment Ridgecreek all fit like a glove! Set it and forget it on a RidgeRunner’

Yea, the gathered end under quilts will work in warmer weather but anything below say 40 I would highly recommend the quits built for the hammock. The fit like a glove and as was previously stated, 4 clips and your done. There's no fiddling because they aren't adjustable they just fit. They are warm as well with little to no air leakage.

Under Quilt for WB Ridge Runner

I have been using the AHE Ridgecreek XL for a few years now and I am very satisfied. Fits perfectly. I added an UQ protector from 2QZQ.

I use a Hudson from Jack's I just fold the ends under with shock cord across to make side baffles. It's hard to beat a Lynx though from WB, or the MT Washington
