    Question 40° Wooki

does anyone here have the 40° Wooki?

just wondering how close does the weights on this chart (https://www.warbonnetoutdoors.com/wp...uilt-Specs.pdf) line up with the delivered weights? I read that the woks are design to work with the blackbird, blackbird xlc and the eldorado hammocks but can be made to work with other hammock with some tweaking. I have a 10ft Dream Hammock Darien how hard would it be to get the regular woke to work with the Darien?

    thanks

which fill (950 or 850) do you have?

is the bushwack a 20D material it's not listed on the custom woke page anymore?

    I have a 20° Wooki XL 20d 850 fp that is right at 21oz.

Pretty spot on for the listed weight.

You can use a Wooki XL with a non-Warbonnet 11' hammock, but I wouldn't recommend it. The Blackbird XLC is designed so that you lay significantly closer to the head end than in other 11' hammocks, with the foot end significantly higher (12"-18"). The Wooki XL is designed with that position in mind, where users are expected to lay in the Blackbird XLC -- which is to say that the Wooki XL insulation starts closer to the head end and ends further away from the foot end. And, of course, you can't adjust the positioning of the insulation in the Wooki. If you put a Wooki XL on an 11' Darien, with a proper lay, the insulation will start above your head and, depending on your height, will end above your feet.

Not sure about using a regular Wooki with a 10' Darien.

thanks for your reply. I went ahead and ordered a regular wooki for my 10ft darien to see if it will work. will probably sell some stuff and order the original blackbird later own. I'm 5ft even so it'll probably work for me even on a darien.

Hi soul embrace just saying l use a 40* with my trail lair and Chameleon hammocks..... what l have done is clipped a bina at the foot end of the Wooki through the gathered end cord.... the foot end becomes now fixed in position...
The head end l have done the same thing like my trail winder suspension but note it is important to use a fairly long lenght of shock cord l think l made a measurement about 2" long.... important to have extra so as not to cause stress on the Wooki..... there is also some fitted cord with a line lock and bina to make all adjustments from the head end.IMG_3361.JPGIMG_3360.JPG
