The problem is that people keep posting and this shows up again but without any real news about Kitsap Cowboy. I'm pretty sure, even with the thread locked, his re-appearance would be commented on (sadly that doesn't seem too likely).
I keep checking every time because I learned a lot about DIYing tarps from his posts.
We keep mentioning someone who is HF family. I don’t see a problem.

Kitsap Cowboy was a popular guy. It is natural for people to wonder what happened to him. One day, maybe we'll find out.
Not that I trust the information that has been posted, but it sounds like he's had a stroke. If he can't navigate a keyboard but is somehow aware "of the mentions for him at HF," that sounds like wishful thinking, like somebody is talking to him but he can't communicate back. Some people recover from stroke, but this sounds pretty dire.
I wish him the best. I had something like a stroke about five years ago - just kept falling over, all the time. I even sat on the ground against the wall, and still fell over. My family was very worried about this constant falling over. My vision was impaired for several weeks. I had tests for three months but they never found anything wrong with me. Eventually I recovered, but it made me realize a stroke is not a particularly nice thing to endure. It must suck to be alive but unable to communicate in any way. Reminds me of that movie, "My Left Foot."

Hopefully it is something he can recover and not something like ALS.
Wish him the best and may he recover back and have a good quality of life!
The people who know ain't talking, which suggests that's the way his family wants it. I respect that, and won't speculate.

All kinds of guessing games. The only information that is known is that K.C. is no longer posting and more likely than not, he is unable to post for some unknown reason.
In my personal opinion sending caring posts is a way to show respect. Digging into personal details that K.C. does not want to make public is not showing respect. Just my personal opinion and does not mean anything except something to think about. When I was fighting for survival I did not want people snooping. Again that is just my personal attitude.
