I'm heavy, some might say "dense for my height". Okay, it's just me who says that. But, yeah...and I flop around a lot in my sleep too. I just don't trust anything with one connection into interior studs I also don't trust. Perfect recipe for me never sleeping again. I like over-engineering things.

I've been sleeping in a giant beanbag for the past year to try to break myself of sleeping on my stomach. Not working. I do think I have learned to sleep in an inverted banana position now, though.
Oooh, shiney! What does THIS button do?

When I was a kid I had a hammock chair in my room attached with a screw in eye bolt. Swinging back and forth slowly elongated the hole and one day down I fell. Since that experience I make my attachments with more than one screw.

I have had a set on order for a bit now, and they are on their way to me. Looking forward to them! I am still going between modern hammocks and brazilian or Mayan, so the extra height options will be nice to have.

I went for it with a pair of 4 foot tracks. Came out great and I hang all the time.

I've been using mine for about the last month and a half, every night. Works great, and its nice to be able to adjust the height depending on which hammock I'm using. I have been thinking about getting one more ring mount, but havent looked into it yet.

These look exactly like the tie-down rails I have in my truck, rings and all. They will be plenty strong enough for hanging from. The ones on my truck had a bit of play to them- if you shake the ring with your hand it'll clack around a bit. Still securely fitted though. I have bet the lives of strangers on the highway many a time and it hasn't failed me yet.

I just saw this thread, and I see a lot of comments, so figured I'd pile on. No creaking from the attachment. I use them all the time. Love the ease of adjusting when I change out hammocks from time to time. You won't regret this purchase.
