Couple of things: Note there is already a “Considering moving to a LiteAF tarp” in this sub-forum. You may find more answers there. You mentioned wanting to reduce weight AND bulk. But most posts indicate that though the DCF tarps are lighter, they are also bulkier - do not compress as much as the Sil’s. Though the LiteAF does not have catenary cut, the guy pullouts are angled to help get a tight pitch. Though I’ve found a Hex to be very utilitarian, I’ve found womenfolk prefer a little more privacy and protection from the cold. Doors give you more versatility with little weight penalty (but bigger $ penalty).
