Just leave the hammock in a sleeve. Or bring it inside.

I have left tree straps with toggles in place for several weeks during the summer. My hammock, continuous loops larks-headed to each end, was kept by the door ready to deploy.

This method is faster than trying to shake debris or bird poo off a permanently hung hammock prior to every use.

I put mine away each morning. Just unclip and stuff the whole thing - hammock, TQ, UQ - in a large cotton storage bag. The downside with cold nights - still below freezing at night here - is across the street neighbors burn something that fouls the air. Either they are burning something for heat or burning something they don’t think they’d get away with during the day. Once it warms up at night, and the adjacent honeysuckle bush starts blooming, it will be more pleasant.

I have used Eno Atlas straps w/carabiners in our yard for the past five years. They have held up fine but are not as soft and pliable as when new. I have gone thru two homemade table cloth hammocks though. My problem is getting the mower a little too close and the exhaust muffler melting a little spot in the hammock which then leads to ripping. I now have one of the yard hammocks you get at Lowe’s attached to the atlas straps. Not as comfy but family enjoys having it up year around.
