    VIDEO: Ozark Highlands Trail 2020

We made one last trip out before the shelter in place. 5 days, 65 miles on the Ozark Highlands Trail with our Ridgerunners.

It's nice to see video on the Eastern end of the trail.

Your unidentified object is Sweet Gum. My neighbor has one and believe me, it is the gift that keeps on giving

Were you pleased with the Salomon Men's X ultra Mehari Hiking Shoes? Did the fabric allow debris in the shoe? Was the "quick drying" noticeable?

Noticed there were 3 days without any cell service. What carrier service did you have?

Was the Hurricane Creek high water trail easy to follow?

Someone told me the Eastern side of the trail isn't as well marked as the West of Ozone side. Did you think that is true?

Thanks again for the video. Enjoyed your video a lot.

Very nice video! My buddies and I backpacked from FR 1003 to Fairview back in 2017. It was a fun trip- albeit very hot! We wanted to go in October, but had to bump it up to September due to my wife's pregnancy. It was very buggy and spider-ey, with temps in the upper 80s and low 90s. Still a nice section of trail; and one that I would like to hike again in cooler weather after the leaves have fallen. I absolutely love northern Arkansas!

The hiking shoes did well. No debris. Dried pretty good. Pretty hard to tell since they kept on getting wet. I have T-Mobile. The High Water Diversion Trail wasn't too bad to follow. The hard part this time of year is the trail is a lot like late fall. So many leaves, sometimes it was hard see the footpath. Maybe just a bit harder to navigate the east end, but it wasn't too bad. Only a few times did I have to guess. Thanks for watching!

Great trip report video & thanks for posting!

I did an out & back this past New Year's on the OHT & had a really good time. It's a great trail & one of these days I hope do the whole thing.

For years I've ridden in that area with some buddies & we've stopped for a drink & rest at Hankins Country Store in Pelsor & at the one lane bridge on Big Piney Creek many times. 123 is a pretty good motorcycle road and that whole area has some of the best riding around. Beautiful part of the country.
