    Silpoly Tarp Tie-outs

I know when using Silnylon tarps, it’s important to use shockcords as sometimes the tarps stretches out when wet. Do you really need shockcords with a Silpoly tarp? I’ve been using shockcords but I’m thinking of trying it out without.

I made a bunch of line-tensioning guylines and often use them. But my newest DCF I have not yet but more than likely will.
Smaller trees seem to sag a wee bit when one gets in the hammock and there is sometimes some tarp loosening. So I just like 'em.
But to each their own in the long run.

If you promise to never, never, never trip over your guy lines, you may not need them. But sometimes it good for something to have a little … give. Or so I’ve been told.
In order to see what few have seen, you must go where few have gone. And DO what few have done.
