    Virus Boredom Backyard Outing

Took a stroll out back. Dusted off one of my original hammocks from days past. UGQ kept my bottom side warm.

Nice view! With all the doom and gloom these days, I had to take a similar stroll along Duffins Creek in Ajax, ON.

A little coffee from the hammock, wind in the trees, and a flock of swans singing from the marsh does the soul good!

I refuse to call this crap “social” distancing. It’s anything but social. I’m sticking to “physical distancing,” and striking up as many conversations as possible at a safe distance. Get out there, keep your distance, but keep up some social chatter to spread some much needed tension relief!!

Beats my day...apart from keeping my 7yo son busy all I did was cut the forearms off my favourite hiking shirt, hemmed them at the elbows, then used part of the shirt offcut to patch a rip in my fav hiking shorts... I'd rather be hanging.
Mountain views are good for the soul....& getting to them is good for my waistline.

Yesterday, I took a hammock break when I hiked through a closed DNR campground.

been hanging n the carport with the wife and kids, raining and cold which is a good thing with the metal roof and my little backpacking wood burning stove. Roasting marshmellows with the little stove and playing cards on the stool. Solid fun while being at home, here's a few pics of the family fun. Ya'll be safe out there
