Oh wow. My brick column is a support column for the patio overhang and believe there’s a 4x4 wood post inside. The screws are also in different bricks so hopefully the mortar, which appears solid, won’t give way. Thank you for making me aware of that!

OP how you feeling? And to keep it on topic how has the hammock worked out as your isolation? I’ve considered the same strategy should it come to it.

I’m feeling fine, 99.6 temp an hr ago. The mild aches are pretty much gone. My eye muscles really ached for a few days but that’s pretty much gone. The mild fever is weird but I don’t feel feverish.

Tonite will be 10 nites in the hammock. I have not had a bad night yet. I’m in it a lot during the day but I’ve got a fairly good excuse. It’s not a piece of furniture but it surely is a great device I guess. I’ve got a nice wide multi-position cot but this hammock does it all.

Thanks for asking how I’m doing. So far no family member has any symptoms. Stay safe!

Glad to hear you are doing ok. I know at least half a dozen people now who have had it. My hammock remains my plan “B” should I need it. Thanks for letting us know it is plausible.

On a more pleasant note it is my pan”A” tonight!
