    Pole mod help?

Hey all, I’ve been working on pole mods for my 12’ HG Journey. The pull out mods are fine but I can’t seem to get a proper curve on the center pole mod. The pole is 9.5 mm, 114” long (same width as tarp). It kicks the center of the tarp out too much to provide any wind block (see picture). Is this just a common issue with center mods or should I be looking at a different length pole or different diameter pole? Thanks in advance, I appreciate it!

You can try tiring out the center tie outside to get a tighter bend
But it is the nature of a center pole mode

You need a tie out to haul the ends back in . A simpler solution may have been to use a internal pole mod with just 2 poles ... ala Kitssapcowboy

I added guy lines to my center pole mod...it pulls it down to the right place if needed.

Thanks guys, this will definitely help. I’ll try a few of these things and see how it shakes out. All the best!
