While on spring break vacation last week had a chance to have a morning hang by myself. Took a little nap and read a bit.

The Pine Mountain trail at nearby FDR state park is a nice little 21 mile hike. Not sure if it's still open though.

Yea, I am not sure if it is still open either. My family and I have day hiked small portions of that trail, but it has been a few years. Would be fun to do an overnighter sometime.

The Pine Mountain Trail is still open. All GA state parks are still open. Some of the museums and other indoor areas may be closed temporarily. They are offering online check-in & payment so that you can go directly to your campsite if camping to minimize personal interactions. They are limiting outdoor gatherings to <10 people, including the use of picnic pavillions. But the trails & outdoor areas are pretty much open as usual. Camping is still available & some previously full parks now have site available sites due to cancellations.
