    If you give the hammock length, the Hammock calculator uses 86, not 83, percent to calculate the ridge line and subsequent other values. I think the 86 percent is suppose to be closer to a 1 to 1 relationship between weight in hammock and force on suspension. I believe the newer calculator used by the smart device app version also uses 86%.
