??? source for reflective nylon strap material ????

I am looking for some reflective nylon strap material to make a daisy chain of loops (light loads) for a lightweight pack I'm making. Does anybody know a source? I can't find anything that meets my specs below. I found some stuff on ebay but it looks like the reflective material is painted on. The reflective shoelace loops on my merrell shoes would be perfect (maybe a little narrow) but I can't find anything similar for sale anywhere.

    • Nylon webbing or strap - not grosgrain
    • 1/2 inch, 3/8 OK but not preferred
    • reflective material woven in - not painted or bonded on - woven in like a shoe lace
    • black color OK but not prefered. something to go with my grey and orange gridstop color scheme would be better.

I've already considered reflective cordage but it's too hard to sew into my design.

I've also considered a flat reflective shoe lace. That's possibly my best option right now. Color is an issue with the shoelace and shoe laces are slightly too light for the intended use so they wouldn't be ideal.

Thanks for responding. I didn't think of looking on etsy. Unfortunately, that probably isn't going to work for me. Polyester abrades easily. The reflective part looks spray painted on. Although they will carry light loads the daisy chains on my pack will be subjected to some abuse.

First post says "not grosgrain ......

For OP: It looks as if other folks' google foo isn't working any better than yours. I gave it a bit of a shot and had no success.

You mentioned that you have outdoor products that utilize the material you're looking for. Perhaps email those manufacturers to see if they will sell you some of it or will at least tell you where they sourced it.

Doubt that merrell shoe company is interested in selling me $3.00 worth of material or could even do it if they wanted to. But, thanks for responding.
