    Hello from your east a few miles! Lots of talk about flattening curves lately. Hammocks have a much steeper learning curve than tents or bivys. Do yourself a huge favor and check out Shug Emery's Hammocks for Noobs series on YouTube. Watch, then watch a few times more and practice in your backyard before heading North! This will flatten your hammock curve tremendously.
