I know, I know.."I thought he was done with hammocks?"
Well, I had a long conversation with someone on the AT last night and he has convinced me to give it another try. I have my gear set up, I just need advice on setting up a tarp.... faster than I am currently.
If it's raining, it takes me wayyyy too long to set up my tarp. The continuous ridgeline itself is extremely fast, but by the time I get my prussik knot and toggles attacked to my tarp the way I want it...let's just say if it's been raining my gear and myself are already soaked.
There's got to be a better way. I want to perhaps tie off cordage to each end, but then I run into the issue of getting it centered over my hammock so I don't get wet. Should I get the figure 9's I saw at the local store? Help...
Advice needed snakeskin or no snakeskin
If it helps.. I have the following gear:
11 foot dutchware hammocks (netted and no net)
Ridgeline: continuous with paracord, prussiks, toggles
Tarp: 10 by 10 etowah outfitters silnylon
