    First hammock arrived today!

    My first hammock arrived today and I'm super excited!







    Hennessy Hammock Survivorman. Can't wait to take it out to the woods!

    That seems to be the same for a lot of people...me also. But I soon moved on to something more comfortable. But like the saying goes...HYOH!

    Good for you! I started with an HH Explorer UL, and it (insulated with my HH Super Shelter) is still one of my favs 14 years later!

    Do you use an under quilt? I'm thinking of making one from a RSBTR kit but I'm not sure how well it will work with the side pullouts.

    I've found that if the hammock has quilt hooks, then the underquilt works fine- even when I use the side pullouts. It'll still work even without UQ hooks; you'll just have to adjust the quilt a little more when you lay down in the hammock.

    We totally though he was a Ridgeback too but we did the doggy DNA and he turns out to be mostly mutt with a preference to Rotweiler. We have another dog that looks just like an english pointer that turns out to be mostly Great Pyrenees.
