Hello from Michigan. I just joined the forum and have learned a ton from everyone. My son and me have hammock camped just once in our diy hammocks and we are hooked. We hiked the Manistee River trail last Oct. It was in the low 40's and yes we got a little chilly at night. I have since made a couple of under quilts out of Cosco down throws. Hopefully that will help.
