    Modifying a sewn-through UQ for cold weather

    This was a lot of work, but it worked far better than I expected.

    With reference to step 5, if you perform step 4 in the back yard, the birds and squirrels will do it for you collecting nest material.

    Quite true. In warmer weather, I do. Note temperature cited. Of course, it was warmer last week when I worked on the quilt, most days in the 30s F., but it also rained all week.
