    Straight Edge With Interior Poles

    G'day

    I am looking at getting a new SilPoly tarp, and was wondering if having dual interior poles on a straight edge, makes it easier to get the type of tight pitch you get with a cat cut?

    I like the idea of extra coverage, but also like a taut pitch. Can I have both?

    We have a pair of 13’3” tarps, sil-poly, rectangular cut. We use two interior poles in each. Pitching taut is not an issue, at all.
    If you prepare for failure you will probably succeed.

    Yes! Interior poles make, and keep, your tarp taut. No need for cat cuts.... My official $0.02
