It's a tq, and I used it for close to a year before loaning it out. If I didnt tell you it was synthetic you wouldn't know. It is less compressible than down, but more compressible than climashield.

Thanks for the reply. My fat fingers, I meant TQ, sorry.

Sounds like a great alternative for wet season use here in the mid-Atlantic. I’ll have to keep an eye on these.

I made my wife a 20 degree UQ using UP insulation last year (she has a slight down sensitivity) and it's worked very well. Doesn't compress as small as my 20 degree 800FP UQ but it's pretty dang close.

With UP! being used more, I'm curious how much cheaper an UQ would be compared to down(?) Obviously the labor and shell costs wouldn't change, just the cost of the insulation. Sheet synthetic insulation is a whole different argument and I don't want to cloud the question with that option.

How do you not get cold spots with the 20? Ive got two 40's and two 10's. Ive never been able to keep from freezing with the 10's. Ive got a 10 in symmetrical and one in assym. Neither allows me to sleep without cold spots in temps lower than about 35. The 40's work great.

    Hi Dave,
if you live in the UK, why you don't take an UK-made UQ then? Check "blueskylavender" https://www.ebay.uk/usr/blueskylavender who makes really nice Quilts!

    Cheers!
