    OH> Feb 2020 Planning thread

Anyone planning on getting out this month? I've got jury duty (Whoopie!) but that shouldn't be an issue! Chime in with dates and possible sites!

I’m past due for a getaway. Been hoping I can brake out the cold and snowy weather gear sometime soon, but it’s been so mild.

Went out last weekend. Feb 1-2. Hung out with Roogles and a few others. It was a great time. Heading to Wildcat Hollow Feb 21.

I've been meaning to do Wildcat for years, but never made it. Have you been there before?

I've backpacked and camped it twice and day hiked another 1/2 doz. times or so. I really like the place. ETrails has a full trail report available.

I think I could make it to wildcat on the 21st as long as it’s not a blizzard.

Ooh. A blizzard would be fun! At least it would be better than freezing rain! If Jeff doesn't mind company, my schedule looks open that weekend...so far.

I do not mind, but I am going with a group. (9 total, I am sure people will start to drop next week) And we'll be back packing the 15 mile loop. Here is the sign-up. Sierra Club Wildcat Hollow Trip

Diz and I got out this weekend, but didn't make the trip to Wildcat Hollow. Just a simple overnighter to Mohican, site 4. Erratic winds and a minimum of 21.2F. No tarp and my 0F kit and I was toasty all night. Some of the best stars I've seen in Ohio in ages!

So, how was Wildcat Hollow? Would love to hear a report.
