    Ultra Wide UnderQuilt not sealing

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get a 57" wide Underquilt without a draft baffle to seal? Ive tried everything. Still have lots of cold spots below the waist. Ive played around with my hammock suspension and made it tighter and looser, I've changed the height of my foot end to see if that would help. I have tightened and loosened the suspension on the quilt and I have cinched down the ends of the quilt. I even added a clew suspension to the quilt. Absolutely nothing has worked. I have watched hours of youtube trying to figure it out. I saw a comment that George from Loco Libre made on this forum a while back that mentioned difficulty in wide quilts sealing. This can be the only thing I can come up with. Is the Underquilt just too wide or am I completely missing something? Oh and Ive also tried the Underquilt on 3 different hammocks and had the same issue with all 3 (Wide Chameleon, Dream Hammock Sparrow and Dream Hammock Darien). This is a new Underquilt. I dont have a problem with any of my other Underquilts, its only this one. This is also my only quilt this wide.
Edit: I have also tried the triangle thingies.

Maybe, it is what it is...
First tighten primary suspension so that empty hammock is lifted one foot higher than it was.
Get someone in your hammock about your size.
If you are right lay, then your volunteer will be right lay.
Now tighten secondary suspension to reduce accordion effect.
Adjust short end cords that are on each end of hammock, these run at right angles to primary and secondary suspensions.
You might either tighten or loosen these short end cords, closely checking for air gaps on hammock ends. If these short cords are too tight then hammock ends will have a horseshoe effect, leaving a large air gap on hammock ends.

It can be frustrating! The good thing (not really good but you know what I mean) is that it's your only wide quilt, so the problem may already be identified. Possibly just something that's not going to work out.

There's nothing I can add to what Phantom Grappler already stated. That last part is important; make sure the ends are not over-tightened.

One thing I like to do is lean my head over the hammock while slightly pulling back the under quilt. Without moving your body, try to see if the UQ is making contact with your legs, or close to it. If there's a big gap, it will cause cold spots all over below the waist.

Yeah ive been doing everything I can and nothing seems to work. Every suspension has gone looser and tighter and everywhere in between. Im thinking its just a bad idea to have a 57" wide Underquilt. Ill probably cut it down and see if I can make it functional as a 48" wide quilt.

I actually love my 60" costco blanket UQ with clew suspension. I don't recommend cutting it down if you want to keep the clew. If you want to go back to regular suspension, that would be an option.

For the clews, how many anchors per side did you install? You need 12+ for that kind of length and it needs to use 1/16" or 1/32" elastic shockcord.

    Have pictures?

I have 10 kamsnaps per side with 1/16" shock cord.

Ive considered cutting the quilt down so that only insulation is there....like remove the excess material on the end. Its basically an Underquilt protector with insulation sewn to it.

If the UQ is wider than the hammock body, is there anything stopping the UQ from extending past the hammock body edge?

The Underquilt can extend beyond the hammock body. It usually doesn't though since the hammock is 64" wide. I also dont tie out the hammock when using an Underquilt colder than 50º because the tie-outs tend to prevent a good seal.
