    Diamondback Topquilt by Warbonnet

    Warbonnet Diamondback Topquilt for sale.
    -Scandinavian rated, no overfill, 850fp
    -Regular length, 55” wide
-Sewn footbox (Warbonnet has the best sewn footbox design IMHO)
    -Draft collar
-Elastic sides (this is basically a shock cord ran though the hem along the back sides and you cinch it up like a knotty mod to keep the sides tucked in better)
-15D Autumn Orange inner and outer fabric (it is certainly not a bright blaze orange)

It’s about 6 months old and hasn’t been used very much and has been stored in a very large bag inside. There is one area that needs to be noted. It has a very small cut in the fabric of the draft collar. I patched it up with a clear circular piece of Tenacious Repair Tape and she’s holding on well.

$350 USD PayPal shipped to CONUS
(Retails for about a $100 more than that.)

I am still a Diamondback user and love the design. Just going with some different specs for it’s replacement

Pics are coming in a moment…

Strictly speaking, it is officially labeled as “Scandinavian”, which is the most extreme option offered by Warbonnet. I always believed it was -20°F because I have seen others say so, but the spec chart kinda makes me wonder if it is really a -10°F.

Other vendors who make sub-zero items typically rate 4" loft as -10°F.

I'm also 6'1" and I'm just fine in Regular length quilts which are usually 72" - 74" depending on the manufacturer. I have a UGQ Bandit in Long (78") and it's much longer than I need. As long as you don't want to pull the quilt all the way up over your head (which generally isn't a great idea, as the moisture from your breath isn't good for the loft), you should be fine with a Regular.

Thanks cmc. I agree with both your posts. I’d call it a -10°F, but it’s actually feels like they put a little extra fill in too, IMHO. That might explain the unconventional naming.

At about 5’11”ish, I have at least a few inches to spare IMHO. I believe this is because Warbonnet likes to provide extra length to minimize compression of the footbox. Another reason they say to hang foot ends high, so the topquilt’s footbox doesn’t get too compressed by the hammock “walls” from sliding too far down towards the footbox.

FYI- I will be including a great 3rd party stuff sack by Sealline. They are my favorite stuff sack and drybag maker. The sack included will be an orange 15 liter cinch bag. They are very durable and waterproof and still lightweight. The cinch bag style does still have a very small hole when cinched, so it’s not submersible, but basically waterproof when in your pack as long as you are smart about it. The seams are welded, making them waterproof and stronger than any stitch. The shape is rectangular to make it easier to pack.
